C asked me if she could have the two potatoes sitting on the counter this morning. when i asked her why, she just said that she "wanted them." i didn't buy it. i told her no way and that those potatoes were for our dinner. i thought the case was closed and that i would have no further inquiries regarding the ownership of said potatoes.
WRONG.
i got F to bed, came back downstairs and found C watching napoleon dynamite. i told her she could put a kid movie in, but she insisted that she wanted to watch this "weird dude movie." whatever. i went back to the kitchen to clean up lunch, and the potatoes were not on the counter. i found them underneath the table. each potato had a pencil stuck in it. all the way stuck in it. i took both potatoes with the pencil appendages into the living room to ask her what happened. she explained to me that she was trying to make a pig. she told me that pee wee herman showed her how.
sure enough - i just found this clip on youtube. i am completely stunned. C and her dad watch Pee Wee all the time. Apparently, she pays really close attention.
