J's Family Christmas Party

Christmas Eve is the annual A_____ Family Christmas Party. We always have a great time. This year J wore his customary ugly yellow/orange tie-dyed Grateful Dead sun tshirt, except he took things up a notch by pairing it with a Christmas sweater.

J's brother B's ensemble was truly beautiful. Black turtle neck dickie underneath a white thermal long-sleeved shirt. Think Uncle Eddie from Christmas Vacation. He wouldn't let anyone take a picture of him, because apparently he's planning on being the President of the United States someday soon. This picture will have to suffice:

B always tries to make our lives hell by giving our kids diet coke & candy in secret, in hopes they will get so wired, they'll stay up all night Christmas Eve. I coached C a few days before the party to JUST SAY NO to Uncle B. I told her he's a bad, bad man that wants to ruin Christmas for everyone. It worked beautifully. As the party was coming to an end, Uncle B handed C a nice cold glass of some type of caffeine-containing drink. She took one look at it and ran away. Good girl.

We were not so lucky with F. B hyped him up on chocolate fudge and diet coke. I swear to you - this kid was like seconds away from a diabetic coma. It was hilarious. He kept squishing the fudge between his fingers and then sticking his hand in his mouth. The whole family was entertained by his crazy spastication antics.

And because the tie-dyed tshirt & ugly Christmas sweater can only be viewed by close friends/family, I am not at liberty to post those pictures either. It was a thing of beauty, of that you can be sure.
