Soccer starts again!

C had her first soccer game last week. She has quite a few neighborhood friends on her team which she loves. We've made some serious improvements already this season. The socks she is supposed to wear ARE SO HUGE. They would probably fit me. So, I got this genius idea to cut the foot part off and make them into leg warmers. After I put some normal-fitting socks on, and her shin guards, I just pull the yellow ones up and over. Mimi and her sewing machine helped me put my plan into action and it worked great!

Her coach asked the girls what their team name should be. Somebody yelled out "the bumblebees." J piped up and told the girls that "bumblebees" wouldn't psyche out their opponents enough and that they should change it to "the killer bees." He had 8 little girls and their parents all staring right at him with really concerned looks on their faces.
