The County Fair

Ooooooooooh boy. The fair. Good times to be had by all. And we were no exception. J and I took the kids and had a great time. Lots of animals, lots of kiddie rides, lots of junk food and lots of really weird, weird people. Seriously - want to people watch? Head on down to the fair. Anyway, here are some pictures:

We went to the alligator show first. I'm not entirely sure what alligators & the county fair have in common, but whatever - it was entertaining. Apparently this alligator exhibit travels around the country to educate people about alligators.

Next was the Kiddie Ride area, which lasted for about 4.5 seconds. I don't know if C was more afraid of the carnies controlling the rides, or the rides themselves. No pictures will document this section of our adventure.

The livestock/petting zoo areas:

They seriously had the coolest chickens/hens/roosters. This dude was my favorite.

Yeah, this is the 5 times world-record holder for the biggest pig. It weighs over 1,000 lbs. It was huge. I had to bribe C to take this picture. She was fully disgusted because flies were EVERYWHERE and she said it smelled bad. I have to hand it to her - this pig totally reeked.

Til next year . . . . . .
