I keep the kids' vaccination records/check-up records in our safety deposit box at our bank. I hardly ever go into the bank, so its hard for me to remember to grab C's records to compare with F's. Last week I had to grab a couple other things from the safety deposit box, so I wrote down my info. Here it is:
C's 18 Month Stats:
21.5 lbs.
33 3/4 inches
F's 18 Month Stats:
24.6 lbs.
32 1/2 inches
Man. C was soooooooo tall and soooooooo skinny.
In other news - the first day of school for our county public schools is today. C still has a couple weeks until preschool starts - but I can already feel the change in the air. I went to the store this morning and the roads were empty. The grocery store was empty. Finally, I can reclaim my neighborhood. Costco will be filled with Moms doing the shopping alone. The swimming pool will be filled with kids under 6. Its easier to find parking at the mall, etc. etc.
It seems like as soon as school starts, it officially becomes "autumn" to me. I was talking on the phone to my sis this morning while I fished around in my holiday decor bins to find something "fall-ish" to hang on my door. My sis almost had a heart attack on my and told me that it was still summer. But, labor day is only 2 weeks away, right? I can live with being 2 weeks early in my decorating.
I'm ready for fall temperatures. I'm ready for Halloween. I'm ready for the leaves to change colors. Bring it on.

There was something different about today. I went to the zoo and NO ONE was there- it was great! I, on the other hand, am not ready for Halloween! The Smith's up the street from me already has the Halloween candy out. INSANE! Time flies fast enough as you get older, I want things to slow down a little.
